While specific LPH (liters per hour) flow rates are "Air driven" and thus dependent on the external air pump's output, the adjustable flow rate feature of the filter itself allows for fine-tuning the aeration and water turnover to match diverse aquarium needs, from low-flow shrimp habitats to moderately flowing planted setups. The absence of a built-in motor contributes to its "Low" noise level, as the primary noise source is external and can be mitigated by pump choice.
