Product Overview
The Bosch SMS66GW01I opens with 12 place settings of capacity housed in a 60 x 60 x 85 cm white free-standing body. This model utilizes a 1020W motor to power 6 distinct programs, most notably the Intensive Kadhai 70°C which uses high-temperature water to dissolve stubborn fats from stainless steel pots. At a noise level of 46 dB, it ranks among the quieter units in its class, utilizing the EcoSilence Drive to eliminate brush friction. Water usage is strictly controlled at 9.5 litres per cycle, while the A++ energy rating ensures minimal electricity draw from 220-240V outlets. Engineering Analysis
Technically, the SMS66GW01I relies on its inherent heat drying type, which leverages the thermal energy of the 65°C or 70°C final rinse to dry dishes against the stainless steel tub walls. The 12 place setting capacity is optimized by DosageAssist, a system that drops the detergent tablet into a dedicated tray for uniform spray arm distribution. The 46 dB operation is achieved through a permanent magnet motor that reduces mechanical vibration. For water management, a Dirt Sensor evaluates the turbidity of the 9.5L water volume to adjust the cycle dynamically. The Triple Filter system prevents food particles from re-circulating, while the plastic-coated wire baskets protect delicate glass holders from the high-pressure spray of the Eco 50°C or Quick 45°C programs. VarioSpeed reduces run time by increasing water pressure, maintaining cleaning quality within the 220-240V power window.
