Havells Evo Cook PB12 Induction Cooktop

The Havells Evo Cook PB12 (GHCICEHK120) is a high-performance portable induction cooktop tailored for the Indian market, where rising LPG prices in 2024-25 make electricity-based cooking a smart financial choice. This 1200W model is ideal for bachelors, PG students, and small nuclear families looking to replace or supplement their gas cylinders. It features a robust copper induction coil that ensures 85-90% thermal efficiency, compared to just 40% for traditional gas stoves. Built with the Indian electrical grid in mind, it includes dedicated voltage protection and auto cut-off features to handle the frequent 180V-240V fluctuations seen in Indian households. The cooktop is equipped with four essential Indian preset menus—Boil, Fry, Milk, and Manual—simplifying tasks like boiling milk without spilling or frying snacks. Safety is prioritized with a child lock, auto pan detection, and a shock-proof body, making it safe for homes with roaming children. Its portable 2.3 kg design makes it a favorite for those in rented apartments or hostel rooms where space is at a premium. With a 3-year warranty on the coil and a heat-resistant crystal glass surface, the Evo Cook PB12 offers long-term durability and significant energy savings, costing approximately ₹8 per unit of electricity, which translates to a fraction of the cost of a monthly LPG refill.
