Butterfly 3L Hard Anodized Handi Pressure Cooker

The Butterfly 3L Hard Anodized Handi Pressure Cooker is a versatile addition to any modern Indian home, bridging the gap between traditional cooking techniques and contemporary kitchen design. With a 3-liter capacity, it is perfectly sized for a nuclear family of 2 to 4 members, making it ideal for daily preparations of dal, rice, and sambar. The hard-anodized body offers a premium black finish that is non-reactive to acidic ingredients like tomatoes or tamarind, ensuring your food retains its authentic taste without any metallic leaching. Unlike standard aluminium cookers, this material is tougher than stainless steel and offers superior heat distribution, significantly reducing hot spots that often lead to burnt khichdi or rice at the bottom. Equipped with an induction-compatible base, this cooker is future-proofed for urban Indian kitchens moving from LPG cylinders to electric cooking. The unique handi shape not only adds an aesthetic touch but also facilitates easier stirring of pulses and vegetables compared to straight-walled cookers. It features a reliable twist-lock lid mechanism, providing a secure seal that is often easier to handle for those who find traditional inner lids cumbersome. Safety is paramount, with an ISI-compliant design that includes a pressure release valve and overpressure protection for peace of mind. The cool-touch Bakelite handles are specifically designed for the Indian gas stove reality, ensuring they remain safe to grip even after multiple whistles. Backed by Butterfly’s extensive service network particularly strong in South India and a 2-year warranty, this cooker is a reliable choice for working couples looking for a durable, energy-efficient, and stylish upgrade to their cookware collection.
